When he's not tinkering with something other, Tricky is the main electrician of the lair and is responsible for keeping the Bleurose clan up to date with technology. It's because of him that the clan can guide their ships safely into port and it is also because of him that they can expand so deeply underground and still be well lit and comfortable.

He's still learning though and has proved himself to be a very intelligent young male, even if that intelligence is called into question by how fond he is of his sibling down in the dungeon. It's most likely because Tricky knows the only person that Quip would never hurt is him. Their relationship is odd, but it's clear they both love eachother deeply despite their differences.

Tricky is known by everyone around the lair as quiet, somewhat jovial and logical to a fault. Despite knowing everyone, the pearlcatcher rarely lets anyone get close to him even though he has a strange air of charisma that draws people to him. It's most likely that he got this trait from Nigel, the imperial that watched over both Quipster and Tricky when they were hatchlings, and a dragon Tricky still remains close to.
