Nigel is the Clans Treasurer, and Nari trusts him with every monetary asset to do with the Clan. He decides when to spend money and when not to and as such the Bleurose clan is extremely well off, until the festivals. Then the money spending just goes downhill, much to the Imperials dismay.

Personality wise, he's very cold and aloof and does not spare time for dragons who bore him which unfortunately, is almost all of them. It's a wonder why he stays, given his lordlike nature. He could probably do better, but it is his logic that if he is comfortable: then there is no need to do better.

He's fond of Blythe in his own way, although he shows it cruelly at times, he tries to make sure they do well for themselves and research things before they get into trouble. The same goes for his son, Blake, who he is often away visiting. Blake is still very young and Nigel is determined to protect the son he loves so dearly. His residence in the Bleurose Clan is often that of a full-time job as he does what he needs to do then leaves for the Shadow Clan. Blythe will sometimes join him but is often too caught up with work, much to their dismay.

He speaks to his ex mate Nicholas regularly, despite the few grudges he still holds. The only dragon who he warms for is Psyfi, who he spends a good portion of his time with. The two understand eachother on a level which is truly heartwarming and is a friendship to look up to.
