ARANCK
I often think that the night is more alive and more richly colored than the day.


Aranck is one of Lumerae Vana's kings and the more influential in matters of state and defense. While he is officially a king, Aranck is less powerful than Envy is. Aranck handles most foreign affairs, leaving the other king to work with domestic ones. He's a polite, efficient dragon, which has served him well over the years in Envy's court.

The king is notorious for being a bit of a goof with a few strange quirks. He is a lover of astronomy, shoes, and ginger. He has incredibly bad luck when it comes to gambling, something which he learned while serving as a soldier, and is equally bad at cooking, much to his family's amusement and exasperation. Despite his sometimes hard, disciplined nature, Aranck is also kind and occasionally excitable. Yet, when faced with an enemy, Aranck is absolutely ruthless. He pledges allegiance first to his family, and second to his kingdom. Anything that would seek to harm either will be eliminated.
