Mel is often referred to as the "beast" by the rest of her kin, and for good reason. She studies the science of living weaponry, an engineer for a field that shouldn't even exist. In all her travels, she has yet to meet someone who openly devotes their time to the same subject. Whether or not another dragon exists could be argued.
She works closely with Bones, Raizel, and Sepsis. If local Beastclans or opposing dragon clans are stirring up a ruckus a little too close to home, the scouts will alert the clan and the four will be dispatched to take care of the problem. While Mel's expertise isn't normally needed, the rare occasions on which she is summoned usually ends in complete devastation for any rivals. She is a force to be reckoned with all on her own, working silently yet all too deadly.
Personality wise, she's nothing but a quirky, fun-loving scientist with the urge to talk too much. She bears no specific attraction towards any one dragon, but rather towards many (in the physical sense anyway). In the event she spawns hatchlings, she is quick to abandon them with Nebula, ignoring the responsibility of raising them herself. She mostly views them as tiny nuisances and cares little of their outcome. Oddly, no one seems to judge her for this. They're probably too afraid to.

- Mel's Hurricane Herald, Tenzin, is always observing from the sidelines, taking extensive research notes for the snapper and helping to draw out new bio plans.
- Melamin is standard Elven for, "My love". She has kept her spot in this lair strictly based off of her lore. She was a gift from @SumomoBlossom during my first week!
