Prolixus Venenum is one of the clan's leader's personal guards, and he is also one of her closest friends. They spend much of their time together, along with Orestes, Draco Venenum's other guard/friend. He doesn't talk much, but any dragon in the clan will tell you that he's one of the smartest skydancers alive.

When he was only an adolescent, he left his birth shadow clan, feeling that their mischievous ways were not well suited for him. He tried making a home in the treacherous Scarred Wasteland, but nearly died from a gembond disease that he contracted from the infectious territory. He was rescued by an arcane scouting party, which he now lives with permanently. The gembond scars are the only discomforts that he bears in his new home.

Spuma Maris is another skydancer that Prolixus fell in love with as soon as they crossed paths in the Scarred Wasteland. She too wears gembond scars that were obtained from her travels. Whenever Prolixus isn't sparring in the coliseum, he is seen pruning his mate's feathers and scales lovingly.
