Magna Venenum is a big, lumbering goofball. He loves to joke around, and when he isn't on gaurd duty he can be found playing harmless pranks on his family and friends. His pranks are never well-planned, and the joke often lands on him instead.

When he was a hatchling, his previous, small clan was attacked by a vicious flock of harpies. His parents protected their little pride and joy with all their might. They barely managed to escaped, and were left with fatal wounds. His parents took him as far away as possible before they finally succumbed to the void. Magna fell into a depressed slumber. He later awoke with a parched throat to find his parents being eaten by corpse cleaners. With a heavy heart, he quietly slipped away to avoid being eaten as well.

A month later, Magna had matured into a fine, strong young adult. He had taught himself how to hunt, and he even dug his own den. However, something was missing from his life. With each passing day, he felt the need for a charge growing. Finally, he couldn't take it anymore, and he set off to search for something to protect. He soon stumbled into Arcane territory, and found a lithe mirror who was no older than him. He immediately knew that she, a packless mirror, was to be his charge, and the two eventually fell in love.

Now that Magna's clan has grown to a considerable size, his mate, Draco Venenum, is often kept busy with running the clan or leading hunting parties. Since he isn't always able to protect her, he does the next best thing; protect her clan from the dangers of the Starwood Strand.
