Schism kinda just showed up one day, as one of a small handful of shining imperial newcomers to the small plague clan Viral Evolution. It happened that one of the clan’s senior members was plotting to raise these dragons, Schism included, into a clan-loyal emperor. But Schism cared not for keeping secrets, and her affiliation with some curious bee faes helped bring the plot down to the Wyrmwound. While this seemed to prove Schism’s loyalty to the clan, in truth she just liked exaltee training.

Viral Evolution dissolved not long after and Schism flew off alone, but that didn’t stop her from picking a surname based on the clan. Since then, she’s kept loose but jovial ties to many a dragon in the area. After training Skiptrace, Schism formally retired from the exaltee business, and can now be found frolicking dorkily through the swampland forever.
