Biography

M O R G A N A
morganabar_zpsckvx2b63.png

When The Radiant fell Morgana fled with Nocturne after he convinced her that her life was not safe. There were of course alternatives: her children would likely have sponsored her as she healed, or perhaps her brother Arthur. They'd be putting their clans at risk for retaliation, Nocturne insisted, and so she left with him and ceased contact with those in her life. For three years they moved from territory to territory, concealing their identities and attempting to start fresh. Morgana never really could let go of The Radiant, however. Not even after her father was sentenced to a life int he deepest prison the southern icefields could provide.

Unlike Reaver, Morgana never felt guilt for what happened in Valorian. Sure, she felt guilt over the deaths of those that lost their lives, and for those that suffered. However it was never directed at herself. She blamed her father and absolved herself of all blame. Whether it was as a means to cope, or because she truly believed she did nothing wrong the world may never know. What it does know is that she was partially responsible for all that happened in The Radiant, and that had she acted sooner many lives could have been saved. Her pride and her devotion to Bahamut kept her from acting however, right until the very end. She may not see it, but there are those that do and wish for her to pay like her father has.

Nocturne is her one protector in a world that would see her come to harm. He was never meant to stand in the spotlight, and so he taught her how to blend in and assimilate herself wherever they went.
