Achilles leads the Bloodworms and the Night Guard. He was the first of the Bloodworms and the only one with unbound blood. The clan had been in need of a night patrol before they had been recruited, and attacks by Beastclans had left the dragons injured and demoralized. Nyx and her warriors were ambushed one night and most of the dragons had barely escaped with their lives, Connor being wounded almost fatally. Heracles decided that enough was enough and left the clan in hopes of finding a few dragons willing to defend the clan. Four days later, he returned, with the Bloodworm Guard in tow. Achilles was the head of that crew. He's very efficient, spreading out the thin crew of 6 dragons over the territory of the clan. Achilles is rather withdrawn from the clan, choosing instead to focus on defense and strategy. When he is present, however, he's usually very grumpy and gruff to everyone except for his mate, Abigail. He works very closely with Kithairon, the head of the clan's digging team, so as to ensure that the clan is located in a protected, easy-to-defend location. Abigail has to gently remind him to come to bed when he gets too caught up in his work. Achilles is too afraid to slack, though. A clan of over fifty dragons are counting on him(no, he has to remind himself. He has the rest of the Bloodworms to help him) to keep them safe at night, and he will never forgive himself should he fail.
