Background: Sorya hatched in a Shadow clan, but never felt she really belonged in the gloom of the Shadowbinder. And she drifted from clan to clan, Flight to Flight, until she eventually met Selon. As she fell in love with the Skydancer, Sorya learned that it didn't really matter where she lived, as her home was with Selon. She happily joined the Zephyrim clan where Selon was accepted as a teacher and found herself surrounded by clan filled with all kinds of individuals who were all accepted and respected as they were. And Sorya felt she fit right in. Task within the clan: Wanting to make herself useful to her new clan, Sorya established herself as a white witch and a highpriestess. She advocates the use of white, benevolent magic to help others and frowns upon magics that do harm. As a highpriestess, Sorya helps maintain the shrines to the eleven deities and provides aid and support to whomever needs it. She is also in charge of the clawfasting ceremony. Whenever a couple wishes to strenghen their bond, they can come to her to be married. Sorya puts great care in the ritual, but is always mindful to keep it light and informal with as much or as little fuss the couple would like. Associates: Most of the time Sorya does her duties on her own, but her temple to the eleven deities is never completely empty and she is often asked for guidance or just a listening ear. As a clawfasting officiate she also works with Tawelwych, to advice him and to help bring people together. |

Personality:
Sorya is a care-free spirit. She is playful, kind and a lover of nature. Her mind often tends to wander to faraway places, but she can always be pulled back by her mate Selon. Her aerial skills are much applauded by clanmembers, and Sorya loves to make long flights to meditate, clear her head and to find inspiration in the world around her. Also, as a lucid dreamer, Sorya often finds answers to various issues and troubles in her dreams, where magical spirits and entities advice her and show her the different paths she or her clanmembers could walk. When Sorya is truly content, her magic often manifests in fantastical patterns that swirl around her body. Family and Friends: She often surprises others when she introduces the down-to-earth Selon as her mate. At first their personalities seem to clash, but once one gets to know the two, one sees that they are made for each other. Sorya free spirit makes sure Selon does not forget there is a world beyond his pile of books, and in return Selon makes sure she doesn't get lost in her world of dreams. Sorya loves Selon with all her heart and is comforted by the knowledge that he is never far off. |
