Spreading his knowledge of music, Concerto will gladly teach anyone how to play if they simply ask. "Listen deep down into your soul and if you are quiet enough, you’ll hear your mind singing with the world."

Profile

Born amongst The Behemoth under the watchful eyes of the Gladekeeper, Concerto grew up curious of this new world he found himself in. Slowly the world’s hidden beauties were shown to him and he found himself the thing in which he loved the most to the deepest part of his very soul. Music. Soon the quiet need to explore that once was hidden, grew until it couldn’t be contained forcing him to leave his homeland, intent on finding his home. He flew far and wide, exploring the flights and their traditions as he embraced each individual one by one. It was only until a harsh storm grounding him in the Shadow’s land that his life had changed drastically. It was there he met the quirky and fast-talking wildclaw, Gasp, who eagerly implored him to come visit the clan to at least stay out of the storms grasp for the night. There he had met her. Meila. She was the clan’s residence leader, welcoming all who travel by. While he was stricken with doubt staying with this clan, Meila was stricken by what many call ‘love at first sight’. Her interest were peaked of this unique nocturne, only growing stronger as Gasp recalled the tiny nocturne’s singing and music. She had liked this little dragon, and decided to take him under her wings as well invite him to be a clan member which at the time, he accepted hesitantly. While the rest of the clan knew from the moment they saw how Meila looked at Concerto, he stayed blind of the love directed towards him until Meila finally straight out told him. Being used to having others deny him, saying he was ‘unattractive’, Concerto was stunned at the confession. Meila refused to back down, and after talking to him over his past, they came to an agreement to at least give it a chance. Soon that chance turned into a nest, and much to Concerto’s horrified embarrassment it was a one egged nest. Time went on, and interest turned into something more, something they later confirmed was indeed, love. When both realized their feelings were the same for one another, they made it clear to the rest of the clan that they were now together and that trying to split them apart would be like attempting to take a pearlcatcher’s pearl or hurting an guardian’s charge. Soon the nest that held one egg, held many more eggs, the two proud parents watching as their young ones left the nests finding homes in all different flights, some even accepting the rare gift of being summoned to protect their deity, Shadowbinder. Taking his ability with music and singing, he can be seen teaching old and young members of the clan how to play instruments with the biggest smile on his face. When he isn’t busy with that or being with his mate, Concerto can be seen surrounded by hatchlings as he gives the resident teacher, Harumph some breathing space and time to visit his own lover. With a personality hard to hate with his easy going nature, Concerto fits into this playful Shadow clan easily with his own fondness of games. However while his playful nature makes him loved by many of the younger dragons, it can lead him into trouble when others use his naivety and gullibity to their gain. However where most would make enemies out those dragons who use himself, Concerto lets it go having better things to attend to without rarely getting upset. The biggest offender of the clan that constantly targets Concerto is Bazinga, who finds it highly amusing to fool the easily mislead. While Bazinga isn’t considered an enemy in Concerto’s own books, there hasn’t been an official hatred of enemy named by this musical nocturne yet. The closest to an enemy is the deaf dragon called Clack who isn’t able to hear Concerto’s singing, throwing him off his game to the point where Meila will drag the nocturne to bed at night or he would stayed up all night, writing in scrolls on how to let the deaf dragon ‘hear’ music and singing.
