Standing before you with her hands on her hips and a smirk on her face is 'sky cowgirl', Tessla. A freelancer who once roamed the deserts seeking work as a storm wrangler, the fearless fae is able to capture raw lightning using the spires on her wings - originally an invention of her father. A professor of the Tempest Spire, he had named his daughter after the renowned draconic inventor, Nocola Tesla, hoping it would spark in her a love of science. But although Tess respected her father's career, she herself preferred the open skies to a musty laboratory. Donning the wing spires, the fae learned how to capture lightning energy, which she sold to the many labs and workshops of the Shifting Expanse.

One of her regular accounts was with Scunner of The Lastsparks, the Chief Engineer who monitored all the clans power needs. During his research the spiral had found that using electricity harvested directly from its source was much more potent, and as his inventions became more numerous and more complicated, the Scunner realised he would need Tess to work full time for him if he were to keep on schedule with his many projects. So he proposed a compromise...

Scunner upgraded Tessla's wing spires, and added his own tech too, improving speed and performance, and earning the fae's admiration. Striking a deal, Tess agreed to join The Lastsparks and move in to work exclusively as the Tech teams power supplier. While not usually one to stay in a single place for long, Tessla has adjusted positively to clan-life, and is on good terms with the more lively residents, though she has no plans to put down true roots just yet. The call of the storm always bring her back out into the sky, and one day the fae will keep on flying until she finds a new place to explore.
