Hope grew up in Meristema's Seed Faction. As a young adult, she met her mate, Leeta, and left with her towards the Viridian Labyrinth, despite her relatives' protests. Together, they stumbled upon the Starflower Sanctuary, and have now decided to settle down there together, at least for the moment.

It took Hope quite a while to feel fully safe staying in one place within the Labyrinth, due to the stories her family told her of why they had to leave for the Wasteland. Her anxiety has reduced since then, but other dragons will still regularly find her digging in the dirt scanning for red tendrils. She uses her innate connection to magic energies and forces to keep an eye on anything in the Sanctuary that could be a threat. The Tea Circle loves to ask her about gossip, but Hope tends to stay silent on what she sees. The fear is there still, though having Leeta there to lean on helps.

Hope and Leeta can't have eggs together, and both have refused the option of using donors. They each have family with a history of illness, and don't quite yet feel comfortable with the possibility of passing that on while living in the shadow of what happened to Meristema. Still, they feel a strong desire to start a family together. They have decided to speak with resident scientist Glitter about creating a bogsneak egg, and have slowly been going out to gather the resources for it. It's hard to be so seperated from her family, and an egg of her own, if only just one, to nest, brood, hatch, and raise together with Leeta, is a dream that Hope is holding close to her heart, and helps when life seems dark.
