Happy Birthday Flight Rising!
Clan Info
Hi there! Here are some quick facts about me and my lair (clan lore is below):
I'd prefer that you use they/them/their pronouns for me, please :)
I am an exalter! If a dragon is at the back of my lair or w/o a familiar, it is likely going to be trained and exalted. Feel free to message me about these dragons!
If I reply slowly (or don't reply) to a comment of yours, I truly apologize--it's a thing I'm working on!
Other fun stuff: I love Spirals and the circuit gene! Also a big fan of reading and video games.
I wouldn't be a dragon if I didn't hoard things:
This territory is a large swath of the Scarred Wasteland, stretching from the Wyrmwound down Rotrock Rim and even into the Abiding Boneyard. It's an unusually fertile land, supporting all manner of the strange life that thrives in the Wasteland, and as such, many dragons have have chosen to make their homes here. Several clans have arisen to prominence in this area, and though they are quite varied, their lives are as interwoven as the tangled tendrils that creep up the side of Rotrock Rim.
Foremost among these, Clan Wyrm is a group of dragons connected by and named after an unusual virus. Rather than hurting its host, the Wyrm virus enhances it, increasing the physique and intellect of the dragons who carry it while ensuring their unwavering loyalty to Plaguebringer and the spread of the virus itself. These dragons all act according to the same algorithm, as it literally runs through their veins. Most carriers of the virus bear circuit markings.
Clan Wyrm supports a number of smaller dragon clans who operate under its auspices, including a group of Snappers who farm the Mire for Unicorn Dust, a coalition of Nocturns focused on separating their true selves from their tendency to mimic, and a number of spirals who have tunneled their own twisting burrows alongside Clan Wyrm's caves in the Rotrock Rim.
Clan Wyrm's closest neighbor is the Unseelie Court, a clan of magically powerful Fae who dwell in an overgrown mushroom forest on the shore of the Wyrmwound. The Unseelie Fae are particular about their hierarchical traditions, and only allow other magically attuned Fae into their borders, looking on other outsiders with disdain.
A pack of unruly Mirrors has recently taken up residency in this area; calling themselves the Phage, they know no leader or den, roving over the fertile land in a never-ending hunt for meat. Word of their savagery is spreading quickly; the Mirrors of the Phage believe that they serve Plaguebringer by eliminating weaker beings from Sornieth, leaving only the strongest of Plaguemother's acolytes to survive in Her name.
Finally, a small gang of Wildclaws has also recently moved into the territory. A group of friends sticking together for survival, they have no name or structure--their mission is to help each other survive in a frequently hostile land.
