Yeah, the attacks are pretty scary. That's why we've been avoiding the big cities and tourist hotspots. Thankfully they're starting to slow down some

I haven't been to those places yet, but I have gone over to the Maginot Line in France and toured the inside of one of the last remaining forts. Absolutely fascinating!

Also the poorer countries have pretty bad roads. As soon as you cross the German-Belgian border the roads get bumpy. And I do agree, I'd probably love it. I'm a history junky and absolutely LOVE museums and historical sites

I didn't have time for the Mozart house, but I bet it's really cool! France isn't quite as glamorous as people think. The roads aren't as good and Germany's and it's just not as well kept in general.

Oh, Salzburg is a wonderful place! And yes, sometimes I go to France to visit war memorials and museums. One thing I love about this continent is the build up of history

Oh, I had Latin roots in middle school, so many languages are easy for me. German is not. I really like it here... The people are very nice! I'm about 45min or less from the border of France, and a couple hours north of Austria
