The Verdant Vale is located deep in the Shrieking Wilds. The clan is happily ensconced in a sedimentary cliff that rises majestically above the surrounding woodlands. The weathered surface of this cliff is covered with hardy shrubs, and small trees that have established themselves in small pockets of earth up and down the cliff side.

The surrounding forest is comprised of mixed deciduous and coniferous trees with dense under brush. There is plentiful moisture for the exuberant frenzy of plant life due to a nearby river and several spring-fed streams that flow through the area.
