Tʜᴇ Rᴜɪɴ Wɪᴛʜ ᴀ Vɪᴇᴡ

Welcome to the lair of Cʟᴀɴ Lᴀᴇᴠᴀᴛᴇɪɴɴ, a labyrinthine lair in the Mᴜʀᴋʙᴀʀʀᴏᴡ Cʟᴏsᴇ and the surrounding area. Here, a bunch of dragons drawn in by the matriarch Sɪɴᴍᴀʀᴀ make their living in darkness, devoted to the Sʜᴀᴅᴏᴡʙɪɴᴅᴇʀ.

Two life-size pearlcatcher statues mark a small opening in the thick bramble undergrowth around the trunk. It is dim, but glowing mushrooms light the winding path into the lair.

The path opens to a vast clearing, lit by candles and a plethora of bioluminescent plants. There are about ten holes, more or less elaborately dug and carved, leading underground and into the side of the massive tree trunk shadowing the clearing. To the east, the Forum of the Obscured Crescent can be seen, to the west is an impossibly thick wall of thick, thorny vines and poisonous shrubs with a brook running southwards through it.

It started small, but in time, the lair grew into the perimeter of the Murkbarrow Close and the surrounding undergrowth, where the residents now protect their border from the nearby plague clans (and by protect we mean wave to them when we see them).

Every dragon has their space to live in and they are free to do as they please - as long as they heed Sinmara's command.

Sinmara herself was born and raised in the Zephyr Steppes, but she soon realised that this peaceful way of life was not for her. She travelled Sornieth for years, finding allies and partners, until she outgrew her wanderlust and made a permanent home in the brambles near the Forum of the Obscured Crescent and Murkbarrow Close.

Now unified under the banner of the name Laevateinn, a mythical ancient weapon rumored to lie somewhere in the darkest forest, the clan has made a comfortable living close to their adored deity.
