A dragon named Nautilus with scales that shone like sunlight on the sea once found herself alone and void of purpose in the tsunami flats. Seeking shelter in the empty caves, she soon found herself a permanent charge in the form of soul-pearls belonging to the growing, flourishing family of pearlcatchers that came into her care. She now stands sentinel over a bustling lair, keeping watch over her adopted family as they come and go and carefully guarding their precious pearls until they should have need of them again.
