The Pyorùn Clan, named for the lightning that tears across the Shifting Expanse, began on the fringes of the rugged terrain known as the Highland Scrub. Although relatively quiet compared to the rest of the expanse, the electricity crackling through the sky and the thunder shaking the dry earth sent Proxima, her mate Falion, and their two hatchlings searching for a new place to call home.

Heading north, their little Clan grew as they encountered a few wanderers, and they finally settled in Light Flight territory, carving out a new home for themselves in the shadow of the great sundial. Satisfied now that their Clan is safe from the elements, the dragons of Pyorùn are eager to begin their lives in their new Flight under the watchful gaze of the Lightweaver.

Proxima continues to serve as the Clan's leader with her mate Falion at her side as deputy. As their daughter Ria has grown, she has developed a keen interest in the herbs of their new homeland and their uses, and has taken on the mantle of Clan healer. Prelude, a dragon that joined the Clan on the journey from the Shifting Expanse to the Sunbeam Ruins, has a keen mind for all things mechanical while Reveille, Caelum, and Zarya have embraced their roles as guardians of their adoptive Clan, although in their Clan continues to thrive in peace, their role has shifted to become hunters, keeping their family fed.
