Stretching across three forks of the silty river of the Driftwood Drag and growing every day, the Amber Dam is a marvelous thing to behold.

It is a gargantuan structure, weaved of wood, clay, stone and the namesake amber. It stretches five stories tall and is easily thrice as wide even discounting the thickness of it's sturdy walls, decorated here and there with luminescent mushrooms and crystals and banked on either side by worn paths that lead all the way from the sea into the depths of the shadowbinder's realm.

There is great reason for this building to be so large; it is a trading post, an inn, a foster home, a library, a mercenary post and the busy, bustling home of an incredibly tight-knit clan of outcasts, lost souls, runaways, misfits and envoys all in one, everything and everyone united together by the clan's diminutive and incredibly opportunistic matriarch and her mate, the two of them guiding the clan as parents guide their young... Though there's a lot of profit involved as well.

There is ample food and water here, and no shortage of friendly company. Dragons pass through constantly, and you will find everything from maps to clothing to spells and stories. There's always empty beds and a fire to sit by, the clan's eccentric mage-warriors keep the roads clear of danger, and inside the safety of these thick, obscuring walls dragons can disappear, if they so desire.

(The lore of this clan is still a work in progress, but if you want to read through it all, I'd recommend starting with Cirrus and going through the dragons on the first page!)

(This clan does occasionally exalt, but if I buy a dragon from you and you would prefer I didn't exalt it, send me a message and I'm sure we can work something out!)
