Welcome to Beacon Rock

Just having fun with lore, art and breeding pretty dragons! Expect fan-dragons and a complete disregard for hatchdates. While dragons may eventually move on, I don't buy specifically to exalt- if I bought your dragon it likely has a long-term home here.

Clan Lore

The Island

Just off the western shore of the Windswept Plateau lies a tiny isolated island, carved by the sea into a network of caves and sea stacks and lashed by unpredictable squalls. Though it is seemingly inhospitable, a clan of castaways and misfits ekes out a living from the flotsam.

However, they are not alone...

Beacon Clan

The Beacon Clan was founded by a stranded Fae geologist, a rumoured ex-pirate, and a gaggle of outcast dragons. As the clan has grown, beacons of fire and crystal have been set up on the cliffs to guide dragons away from the rocks, and bamboo whistles howl a warning to travellers when the winds are high.

Beacon Rock is becoming a welcome stopover point for lost travellers and weary couriers. It is also a permanent home to those wanting a more secluded way of life- along with more adventurous types drawn to the island's unpredictble storms and rugged terrain.

EGG Labs

Something is stirring beneath Beacon Rock. At first, the occasional egg began to vanish from Beacon Clan nests. Later, adults started to go the same way. Raiding parties of strange, blank-eyed dragons with metal augments were only recognisable as the missing by scars and distinguishing marks; their genes and even breeds changed beyond recognition.

In the cave systems beneath the island, someone has amassed a following of the brainwashed and the power-hungry. Experimenting on the dragons of the Beacon Clan using a strange mix of magic and technology, their identity and ultimate goals remain unknown...
