Yes you are correct! Biscione was the emblem of the great House of Visconti, a Noble family who ruled Milan from the late 13th century to the mid 15th century, and is still seen as a prominent symbol in Milan.

Whatever works! D&D is fun stuff, and Latin will pretty much always be cool. :P I just have a weird love for the proto-indo ones ^^ Latin definitely ties in with them, but, just, later on. Also, gah! 25k for her.. ~_~;; I'm far too tempted right now.

I started out naming my dragons less-commonly-used, but still-dark-in-theme verbs. Like Shriek, and Writhe, as opposed to usual nouns like Anguish and Nightmare and such. Lately, though, I've been loving old tongues, like PIE and Old French for names.

Ah ^^; yeah. They definitely will all be named, sometime, though. Sometimes I like to leave them Unnamed until post-1st clutch. Occasionally I let the first baby buyer choose them, for themes. No one has done it, yet, and I end up using my own theme.
