Welcome to Whirlwind Clan!

This Clan's Leader is Darkwings, a female Guardian over-protective and loyal to her native Flight. In Whirlwind Clan, there isn't really a hierarchy, every member is free. Although there's a Leader, all dragons take part in debates, as long as they're grown-ups. No one is left behind, and the adults teach the youngs about the Flight ways' of life. Some Gusts (the Flight word for outsiders, visitors)may see them as a bunch of weak, undisciplined dragons, but they can be strong and loyal if threatened. The clan values curiosity, friendship, loyalty and honesty above all. They despise cowardice, stubborness, proudness and dishonest behaviors. Whirlwind Clan is always welcoming toward newcomers.

About the Ranks within this clan

-Leader: Always a female dragon, the Leader is expected to solve any quarrels in the clan. Her guidelines and advices are respected by all members.

-Lead Hunter: a male chosen by the Leader, his task is to hunt down any threats to the clan.

-Adults: obviously grown-up dragons, they help to protect the Puffs (Flight word for hatchlings) and teach them. They can be Artisans, Musicians, Artists, Poets...

-Elders: old members of the clan, their experience around the world makes them respected by other dragons in the clan. At dusk, they gather the Puffs and tell them stories of their adventures.

-Windwalkers: Flight word for warrior dragons. Windwalkers are trained to protect the Lair's territory from any threats.

-Kites: Flight word for exalted dragons. Usually former Windwalkers who wish to dedicated their life to the Windsinger, Kites are expected to go through training sessions for months. Then, when they're ready, they will leave the clan to join Windsinger's army.

-Puffs: young and hatchling dragons, they must obey the older members of the clan. They are free to explore and roam near the den, though they are still carefully watched after.
