Origins

What started as a peaceful island among others in the Sea of a Thousand Currents, now has become the home of many dragons seeking refuge from the wrath of a desportic goddess. In the absence of the Tidelord's protective grasp, a divine entity, known as Chroma, descended into the depths of the ocean, her mere presence threatening to take control of everything and everyone who stepped into her realm. The serene waters had turned tempestuous, churning ceaselessly like the gears of a colossal clock, leaving the underwater citadel in ruin. A maelstrom of cataclysmic proportions was what sent the dragons into exile.

Devastated by the loss of their previous home, the survivors of this catastrophe started their life anew on the surface. Over time, the island was fragmented into several districts with their own unique set of customs and culture. While united due to their common origin, sporadic tensions tend to arise. As the dragon population flourishes, territory becomes more scarce and more and more dragons felt pressed to return to the sea, the threat of Chroma's ever expanding domain looming over them.

thanks for the welcome!!! im not great with detailed or painterly stuff or cool effects like you seem to be, but i really shine in character design, palettes and more cartoony stuff.
