Pyromaniacal's Clan

Ironsides' is divided into five wings: the Crystalline Court, the Iron Fist, the Thaumaturge, the Night Warriors, and the Wild Ones.

The Crystalline Court (or just the Court) is made up of the gem dragons and clever artisans that busy themselves with the finer details of Ironside's work. The court spends a fair amount of time simply marveling at how beautiful they all are in their splendorous glory, as well. Ironside himself leads the Court.

The Iron Fist is mostly made up of guardians and imperials. These metalworkers guard and manage the forge, and also serve as armorers for the Wild Ones and Night Warriors. The Iron Fist is one of the three groups to rotate between hunting and guarding. Chatoyant currently leads the Iron Fist, in the stead of her husband Stonefall, who now serves Mather.

The Thaumaturge practice magics beyond the understanding of regular dragons. These mystics lend their arts to the Night Warriors as well as special projects of the Court. Led by Morgana, most members of the Thaumaturge are skydancers and bogsneaks from all over Sornieth.

The Night Warriors descend from a great warrior Pulchrior, in the Sun Circle Clan. They serve as protectors and guardians over the clan, and also explore far and wide recruiting and training new members. The Night Warriors are mostly mirrors and nocturnes.

The Wild Ones, as their name suggests, are a bit more primal than the average courtly dragon. These Wildclaws and Ridgebacks prefer the company of no one, save maybe each other. They spend their time scouring the blacksand in search of prey. When back in the lair, they're also known for their exotic ornamentation. Often a Wild One's creative bone-carving will find it's way to a mystic ritual or a particularly attractive gem-setting.
