The Shifting Expanse is to many an unforgiving landscape, home only to those brave enough to endure the constant cascade of lightning that has stricken the wide lands into a desert. For those unfortunate enough to be trapped in the domain of the Stormcatcher by these near-constant storms, there are few places that may serve as a safe haven.

But one vast plateau risen above the many mesas of the Expanse is one such place. Wind and time have led to a network of tunnels deep in the rock that have been smoothed to a mirror shine. Gems and stones unturned for untold years have been lit by lanterns to cast stars across the mirrored surfaces, and the name it has been given by its inhabitants is the Starlit Basin.

High above, its towering walls seem to never permit the light of the sun within, leaving the basin cast in a perpetual cycle of twilight. Beyond the basin's reach lies the Whispersong Grove, and it is here where most of the clan resides in deep caverns filled with a lush bioluminescent forest.

Those who happen across the clan seem to have lost all sense of time, as though they stepped into a space that did not belong wholly to the world. Or perhaps it was merely the entrancing beauty of the basin and those who dwell within it.

Salutations! I'm a very nocturnal nerd who spends a lot of time lurking, and coming up with headcanons for random dragons.
I blame my friend for dragging me into the world of lore dragons, and they know who they are.

I enjoy reading lore, ocs, roleplays, and anything and everything else along those lines. I encourage lore and oc related things to any hatchlings you get from me as well.
