Many many eons ago, when the Frigid Floes still formed one unbroken sheet of ice, war-fearing children of the south fled into the Ice Flight's terrain and formed a new colony. One of them was Okalani, a Plague-attuned Skydancer whose core belief is that the point of living is to serve living beings. Her admirers followed her down a massive lake in the tundra, and they settled on the shore. The local residents were the Depins. Over time, the dragons began to refer to themselves as "of Depin Lake", "Depinove" dragons. |
