It's a big world out there, so go explore!

Welcome to Wairudokuran

Currently, after overcoming many internal struggles and having a leadership change once more, the warriors and artisans of Wairudokuran have been forced to diverge from their usual rigid structure of rules and laws. They have been working together more, pushing aside the harsh pecking order that has been failing for many decades, and assigning more specific jobs where each dragon has to do just as much as the one next to them.

If the below is inaccurate, my apologies! I wrote all this stuff like two years ago and haven't updated the lore since, though I do intend to < 3

Culture

With an overall of Wildclaw dragons, the territory of the Wairudokuranians
is governed a stonefaced Wildclaw known as Vine, who closely resembles her mother in her mistrusting and harsh attitude. Her dominance was achieved by many factors, including her element and heritage, as well as her strength and dominating nature.
The Clan mainly consists of Wildclaws, as previously mentioned, however many other large, powerful dragon species belong to the clan, like Guardians, Bogsneaks, and Imperials, with the occasional Ridgeback or Skydancer sprinkled into their mix. Pearlcatchers and Faes are cherished species within the clan, however, while the Pearlcatchers' population has skyrocketed since The Warring, the delicate Faes and almost faded away, with only a couple currently remaining in the clan.

Wairudokuranians are natural enemies of the long-neck tribes, killing them on the spot ever since one of their own was killed by a group of them, and they fend them off of their territory with more ferocity than other dragon clans.
However, they welcome all Talonok with open talons, providing passerbys with food and protection until they are ready to leave.

Guardians are many in the clan as their protective skills are used to defend the clan against the wild nature of their home land.

Wildclaws and imperials are 'recognized breeds' among Wairudokuran. They are cherished, offered the best of education, food, and shelter, and are even protected by law from exaltion.

Most dragons here are hunters and fighters, almost all dragons enforce the coils in times of need. There is a growing number of artisans and handworkers, who create materialistic things for the decorative dragons. Physical labor is more and more becoming a needed thing, as more dragons are coming into the clan, so must shelters. carpenters are valued in this clan, and are usually close with Vine and the council. Though there isn't a great amount of dragons who know how to read and write, it is a growing skill within the clan, and is becoming more valued. There aren't many who dwell in the art of magic, however most know how to use magic minimally, though not very well.

The Council
The council consist of the five highest ranked dragons in the clan, they make the decisions that the rest of the clan has trouble with and discuss clan rankings.

Clan History:
The Founding
Tristan The Founder was born in The PlagueBringer's flight, but was exiled from his birth pack from competition. After leaving, he discovered the elemental plane he was born in was a harsh one, and he would soon die on his own. In a search for safety Tristan turned to the ShadowBinder, she promised that she would protect him from the PlagueBringer in exchange for his loyalty. On his way to finding a suitable home Tristan came across Snail, a clever tundra, and soon they had a clutch of eggs together. Some time later Tristan discovered an abandoned dragnet named Prurath and took her in, excited at the prospect of having another Mirror in the pack. As time wore on and another dragonet was taken in, and more nest were made, Tristan began to fall in love with Prurath, and he and Snail began to drift apart. Tristan was convinced that Snail was too loyal to the ShadowBinder and that it was putting his pack in danger, so he told her that once their eggs hatched Snail would be able to see them once, and then she would have to leave and never come back. With Snail gone, Tristan began to gain full control over his pack again, and set up a ranking system. The system meant that every thing a dragon did could affect their status within the pack. Once everything was back in order, he realized that it had been long enough and he didn't have to stay in the ShadowBinders territory anymore, so, he left with his pack to the GladeKeeper's territory. After a time there he looked at the health of his dragons and knew that he did the right thing bringing them here. His pack was no longer The Pack of Blood Soaked Scales but the Clan of Nectar Stained Talons.
The Remodeling
Since Glorious has taken her role as leader, the clan has begun to transform into a mainly Wildclaw consistent group of dragons. They have started to form the clan to fit their new needs, with actual housings instead of ground burrows or stick shelters, and the clan is actually starting to look like a civilization.
The Renaming
As the clan's wildclaw population begins to boom, it was renamed Wairudokuran, or 'The Wild Clan'.
The Warring
A great period of turmoil which has recently wracked the Clan was dubbed by its members as 'The Warring'. As many Wildclaw clans do, Wairudokuran has experienced many harsh conflicts between its members, but none seem to equate to this brutal time of inner-clan war. While some dragons worked to perfect the underground cave system which had been previously avoided for generations, others preferred to spend their time above ground. These above ground dragons soon acquired a sense of great entitlement, believing they were better than the Cavedwellers. Clearly, this would breed conflict between the lighter and darker complexioned dragons. Warring among themselves, as well as with a neighboring clan, quickly pushed the clan close to extinction as they eradicated each other. However, with the arising of a new leader, the Clan managed to pull itself together, and they are on their way to recovery.
The New Order
A new order, put in place by Vine, named all wildclaws and imperials 'recognized breeds' among the clan, and saved them from possible exaltion. This stirred a great amount of conflict, this further added to the entitlement among the wildclaws, and would eventually lead to the purge of bogsneaks.
The Purge of Bogsneaks
After the new order, panic set in on all dragons, leading to many questioning who would be next to be exiled from the clan. This question was answered by the wildclaws, who led this purge after hate of the breed spread throughout the clan, claims of them being lazy, spoiled, gluttons charged the noble wildclaws with a hate. The imperials mainly stayed quiet, fearful that if they spoke out they may have lost their safety within the clan. Some dragons were even in favor of this, many of the pearl catchers developed a hate towards the bogsneak breed, and many guardians sided with the wildclaws as usual.

Recent Clan Rumors

Many are looking forward to a new dawn as new life is brought into the clan, clan relations are more tight knit than ever, and meetings, hunting patrols, and training sessions are all going smoothly.

-

After long deliberation, the oldest member of the clan, a guardian named Pyro who had been leading for a short time after the death of a long term leader, passed on his position to four young but well trained dragons.

Teneobia, the oldest, is the best respected and many have faith in her to keep things steady. She's very much a diplomat, the most obvious dragon to represent the clan. She keeps the other three of the council in check, and specifically is mentoring Demetria, supervising many daily clan affairs.

Shortstuff and Barracuda are both eager war machines, but have toned down recently due to being tired of the constant warring. They now use their war background from living in the Plague Bringer's world to organize their small armada, in hopes of bringing peace. The two females keep each other in check.

Demetria, the youngest, is the most controversial. Many are unsure of him, he's young and has little experience in government. Yet, though maybe reluctantly, they put their faith in him. As the youngest, he is tasked with a job that will help give him more experience. He's much more involved with everyday life of the commons and armada, he must check up on buildings, food supply, weapon stock, etc. Luckily, he is supervised by Teneobia, so any mistakes will not go unchecked.
