Legend tell about a pair of siblings that were as opposite as the sun and moon, but despite their differences they cared for each other. One day a terrifying creature emerged from the Abyss, wrecking terror across the land. Animals terrified of the creature fled the place, only the siblings stayed behind. Seeing as the creature had taken innocent beings into their clutches the two didn't hesitate to fight back against the Behemoth, as a result they gave up their lives by dragging the creature back from where it came from, the Abyss.
What many didn't know until that day is that both bad and good things come from the abyss, then deep inside the siblings had been watched by a certain other creature. A transparent like cat covered in stars had seen their acts of bravery and their sacrifice seeing their death bodies at the bottom, the cat bestowed the siblings with Magia power, bringing them back to life.
Their bodies now reflected their names the brother who was named after the sun got bright fur that illuminated the entire place and around his neck spread fire, the sister named after the moon got dark fur where the night sky was portrayed and around her neck was a halo like shape floating.
As a thanks for saving their lifes both siblings separated and created Sunclan and Moonclan. With the power given to them more cats joined the clan gaining the different shapes as a result and so many years passed. Although both clans are on neutral terms and have their own problems, the ancient rules says that if one day something emerges from the abyss that both clans have to put their differences aside and fight together.
Welcome everyone to this Warrior Cats AU, inspired by Kenzie's Super Warriors on twitter. This Au roughly follows standard Warrior cats rules with some exceptions.
Each cat will literally represent the name they got, meaning a cat named Waterclaw, will have claws made of water. A Cat named Firepaw has their paws on fire. Some cats gain a few extra abilities, like manipulating some plants to an extent, but nothing that can control other characters.
Starclan in this au is very similar with the exception of the Cat that gave the clans the power to change in the first place. Called Stella, she usually doesn't intervene and let the deceased guide the living. If Stella ever comes into a cat's dream it means huge problems.
A kitten is born like a rogue a normal looking cat, only after receiving their name will their bodies change to it. A Magia Cat gets three transformations in their life, the first when they are born, the second is apprenticeship and the third when they become full warriors. A Cat that becomes a leader will also get some extra change. To get a better understanding look at Kenzies Super warrior transformation example
The leader in this Au doesn't get nine lives instead they get another transformation and the ability to give the clan members their name. Its said that when a cat becomes full warrior, something whispers the full name to the leader.
Names that don't work are normal names like Tim, Lucas etc and names like Death, Kill, Blood, Star as prefix
New role include Gardener. Due some cats transformation they will lose the appetite to eat meat and rather have fruit or vegetable, they also plant useful herbs for the medicine cat. Mostly only Cats with plant or water looks/abilities take this role.
The World takes place in a fantasy world, so fairies, elves, griffons, etc live there as well
Because of the different Backstory, Medicine Cats are allowed to get children so long there is backup (an apprentice doesn't count as they are still training). The Medicine Cat also takes the role of worshiping their respective founders Sol for Sunclan and Luna for Moonclan.
Rogues, Loners etc don't have powers, only after joining a Clan will they get them. Humans are replaced by elves in this world, they have cats as companions instead of kittypets.
