Seastar kept her eyes on her scroll, occasionally looking up at the cave numbers. "Cave six... cave six... Oh! There it is!" she exclaimed, hurrying over to the cave. "This place is so cool!"
"THREE MOONS IS THAT A WATER BED," Seastar shouted, dropping her stuff and prancing over to a small pool that more or less suited her size. It looked like the perfect Seawing bed, lined with coral and other various sealike plants.
Excited, the hybrid tentatively touched the water's surface, wondering if it was actually real. "I thought I'd never see water again," she murmured, shaking water droplets off her talon. Smiling, she hopped in, spraying water everywhere.

Flashfreeze trotted down the corridor that housed the Gold Winglet caves. Once they reached the cave marked with a big '5' above the entrance they peeked their head in. Seeing no one else in the cave they entered slowly, looking at the diverse choices of beds. Quickly they tossed their satchel up onto the largest cubby carved out of the stone wall((Flashfreeze is very large)) before cringing a little on the inside, remembering that there were, in fact, breakable items in there.

Lily followed FlashFreeze into cave 4 and set down her pack into one of the slots in the wall. She looked around the space where she would be living in while she stayed at Jade Academy.
"I'm glad they make specific beds for everyone. If I had to sleep on the rock floor I don't think I'd stay here very long," Lily said.

Seastar crawled out of the water bed, shaking stray water droplets off her scales like a dog who just took a bath. "Oh no!" she gasped, grabbing her soaked scroll. "It's all wet..."
Shaking the water off, she hurried out of the cave to find a teacher.

Lily jumps. "Oh, I bet that means the assembly is starting. We should go back to the Main Hall," She says. Quickly she rushes out of the cave grinning. It's the type of grin that you try to get rid of so you don't look dorky, but can't because you're too excited.
I am going to learn everything, and this is where it all begins!

Seastar was a deep sleeper. She hadn't even moved when a scream rang out, alerting most of the dragons in the school. But though she hadn't even noticed the murder, chills went up her spine. Her dream was not a happy one.
(I hope it's okay if Star's mindreading is kinda sort fuzzily active while she's asleep? She only will hear really loud/panicked thoughts and only in vague bits and pieces. It's mostly just so she doesn't sleep through the whole thing in a log-like state!)
Starcrusher has timeskipped into the scene.
Star was snoring loudly, deep in a comfortingly dreamless sleep. The NightWing would've likely continued sleeping undisturbed, but she came to a hazy dream-like state of consciousness, hearing soft mumbling whispers of solstice and hurt and blood and dying until they suddenly cut out. Startled by the thoughts drifting into her head and stopping, Starcrusher jolted awake and sat up immediately, glaring out into the darkness. She felt a sense of unease even as she found the room the same as it was when she'd fallen asleep. That was.. a weird dream...
But something was wrong, Star could feel it. Even if she tried, she knew she couldn't fall back to sleep, not until she looked around the school herself to see if something was really wrong, or if she just had a weird dream. Standing up, Star padded over to the entrance of the cave, but hesitated in front of Seastar's pool bed.
After a brief moment, Star stuck her tail in the water and prodded her clawmate. If Seastar woke up, then that'd be good, but it she didn't, that'd be fine.
