[*]My starters are adults because I'm impatient, but also because it serves the story I'm telling. I have a discrete story, and I'll stop once I've told the whole thing. [*]My Pinkerlocke dragons are all starting at level 2 so they don’t get mixed in with my fodder dergs in the coli list. [*]All Pinkerlocke activity corresponds with the loot I obtain daily from Pinkerton, obviously.[/list] [b][u]Drops[/b][/u] [list][*][i][b]Food:[/i][/b] grinding time. I'll take a team of dragons into the lowest level venue they can earn experience for, and grind until I get a stack of 10 of the first matching good type to drop. [*][i][b]Materials/Trinkets:[/i][/b] in the original rules one of them required making art, which is not my skillset. Also I hate trying to tell the two apart. I'll be doing the writing for both of them because that [i]is[/i] my skillset. [*][i][b]Familiars:[/i][/b] acquire an adult dragon. I don't want to have to keep track of which numbers mean which breed so I'm just picking and choosing instead. StarCons only and I’m grabbing the ones I think are prettiest, not the lowest value. [*][i][b]Apparel:[/i][/b] breeding two of my dragons. The original rules require flipping a coin to see if the hatchling survives, but that's not how I live. [*][i][b]Battle:[/i][/b] dragon training time. I take a team into the coli and do at least 25 battles. I can do more than 25 battles if I want to, but only if I do them all at once; no going back for extra training later. I won't be training these dergs at all outside this.[/list] [b][u]The Fallen[/b][/u] [list][*]When a dragon I’m not particularly attached to falls out of the Pinkerlocke, they’ll be leveled to L25 and sold out of my lair. [*]They’ll only be as stoned and statted as they got during the Pinkerlocke. [*]For the first [b]10 days[/b] after a dragon falls out, or until I finish training them, whichever takes longer, dropout dragons will be available to the pinglist for [b]150kt/g[/b]. [*]After the deadline, unsold dropout dragons will be listed in THREAD NOT CREATED YET for [b]300kt/g[/b]. So instead I went and bought a hatchling; here’s Argent. [center][item=ambush][/center] @Twistedstripe @EeveeDream I’m doing real good on this Pinkerlocke so far, hahaha. If I took my three dragons into the coli and actually performed a death streak, I wouldn’t have any dragons left to continue the ‘locke. So what I’m going to do instead is treat this [b]battle[/b] item as if it was a [b]food[/b] item, and treat the next [b]food[/b] item as if it’s a [b]battle[/b] item. I also popped Scratch stones on both of the girls because two Meditates and an Anticipate aren’t going to go very far. Got all three of my adults about halfway through level 4.

Not an actual update, just some information.

That last drop made me realise how much I actually hate the idea of death streaks. It’s just… no fun. So since we’re still pretty early in this pinkerlocke adventure, I’m making a change to the rules. From now on battle items will be doing regular coli time, cos that seems thematically appropriate. Food items are going to be grinding time; I’ll take one of my teams into the lowest venue they can earn experience in, and grind until I get 30 of the first meat/seafood/insect/plant that drops.
