[size=7][color=#3a422d][font=garamond][b]The Greenskeeper Writing Contest![/size][/color][/font][/b] Let me introduce myself. I'm Professor Mosella, and I'll be your writing instructor this week. Here's what we'll be working on! First of all, there will be [b]six Daily Prompts[/b], starting Monday, May 29th and going through Saturday, June 3rd. These will be in the form of journal entries. Five hundred words or less, please! I'll take entries with special formatting, like illustrations, creative design & layout, and other fun touches into particular consideration—but all of that decoration is in service of making your writing shine. You can absolutely win a Daily Prompt contest without any formatting at all. I'm looking for nothing less than outstanding writing! Additionally, I've posted two all-week prompts, one in [b]Prose[/b] and one in [b]Poetry[/b]. These are due on [s]Saturday, June 3rd[/s] Sunday, June 4th, the last day of class. If you'd like to format or decorate these specially—especially your Poetry entry—I'd appreciate it, but I'm not necessarily expecting it! Again, you can win the Prose or Poetry contests without any special formatting at all. Please, no more than two thousands words for the Prose contest and three hundred words for the Poetry contest.
