Maybe there could be an alternate starter method for people who can't afford an egg now?
Like search basic/basic/basic dragons in the AH, between 1-25,000 treasure, sort by expiration, pick a random page, scroll to the middle, and flail your mouse cursor around with your eyes closed for a second. Pick an unbred plentiful breed dragon nearest to where your cursor ended up.
That would be fairly random anyway, and you still start from, basically, nothing?

Oh I really want to do this but the eggs are so spendy right now lol and my one dragon I hatched from the first egg I found I already bred. Going to have to scavenge I guess. I need to level it anyway. XD

@Amberose I amended the first post with "or find an unbred first gen dragon on the AH"; really it doesn't matter where your founder comes from, as long as they're an ungened plentiful and you got them by some kind of random selection, whether that's closing your eyes and wiggling your mouse, a random number generator or the randomness of hatching an egg.
