i tend to say 7 digits and lower, esp in the case of imperials. i have a small collection of old dragons and the AH searches i have saved are specifically for 5 digits, 6 digits, and 7 digit imperials and gen1s.

Profit wise 6 digits is old. 7 digits is still fodder, those aren't really worth anything. But otherwise? I'd say anything below 8 digits is pretty old, they just aren't worth money.
