Fireworks? Your heartbeat quickens. More fireworks are set off into the night, and through the smoke, you see the formation of a Phoenix looking down upon you. Your eyes widen. Something sweet begins to waft in the air. You hear shouting and laughter, and as you round the black beach dune and see the bright lanterns and the painted canvas, you remember: [b][color=Brown]the Night Market has come[/color][/b]. Now the air is heavy with the scent of spices. Incense drifts past you, and as you step forward into the sea of tents you hear, "Fish up!" followed by the slap of someone tossing a large fish to be wrapped for sale. You move further to see a cluster of stools placed in pairs, with a few shawled dragons bent over the hands and palms of their customers. They hold cones of mehndi in their claws, slowly pressing onto the back of it to squeeze out the ember-infused charcoal, rotating their wrists ever so slightly to draw out intricate designs, weaving flowers, vines, the occasional peacock from their patron’s elbows to their claw-tips. Hatchlings scream in delight, running past you waving sparklers of every color as more fireworks shoot off over the market. There’s so much of the night market to explore.
