It was a modest affair, attended only by themselves and their sprites, who danced between the slender trunks of the night-covered forest. On this fateful day the Windsinger, being his usual jovial self, gave the Shadowbinder a hug. The mysterious goo driping from her maw somehow found its way into the food of the feast, and especially all over the main course; Poultrygeist legs. Never one to be deterred, the Shadowbinder watched as the Windsinger downed his meal with a cheerful gusto. After a moment of concentration he turned to her, eyes wide, and proclaimed it to be "the best food he had ever tasted." And so the MistralMurk Faire was founded, celebrating the legendary creation of drool-glazed Poultrygeist legs. The Wind and Shadow flights boast a wealth of games, activities, and prizes, and the most highly esteemed cooks of both flights can be seen vying for the most striking Poultrygeist recipes of the season. A Tournament is held during each Faire, where the sprites of the Wind and Shadow flights compete in various trials of ability. The strongest and most talented Sprite will win the laurels for their Flight -- and bragging rights until the next year![/center] [center][img]http://i.imgur.com/Fxumap6.png[/img] This year's MistralMurk Faire arrives and the first few days pass by, filled with merrymaking, friendly pranks, and cooking rivalries between the various chefs of the flights. The Sprite Tournament was to be held in the final days of the event. As the festivities began to draw to a close, dragons flocked to see the results of the Tournament. This, truly, would prove which flight had the best Poultrygeist recipe! As the excited energy of the gathered dragons peaks at a nearly palpable hum, Sprites Tempest and Twilight enter the ring. They are this year's Tournament contestants, and the pride of their flights rest on their shoulders. It is their responsibility to decide who has the greatest gravy recipe-- er, which flight will emerge victorious in this year's MistralMurk Sprite Tournament! The two sprites battled it out in a variety of activities, ones that had been traditionally competitive as long as the Tournament was a staple of the Faire. Jousting came first. From the backs of decorated cerdaes, Twilight and Tempest attempted to knock each other from their steeds with long-handled stirring spoons. They succeeded -- but both fell at the same time! Bafflingly, the next few rounds ended the exact same way. The event declared a tie, they moved on to the next. Swordfighting, archery, painting, and even cooking. All events ended in ties. Twilight and Tempest could not best each other. It was the most even tie in the history of the MistralMurk Faire! The gathered dragons could not accept this. It began as bickering, and turned into a full-fledged food fight. Twilight and Tempest joined in, landing throw for throw just like they had in the Tournament. The MistralMurk Faire devolved into controlled chaos. The events were still running, thankfully, but everywhere one looked Wind and Shadow dragons argued over who was the best flight -- and who had the best Poultrygeist leg recipe! Dragons of all flights mill about the area, chattering amicably and traveling from one attraction to another. The dragons of Wind and Shadow squint at each other from their booths, and a competition between chefs of both flights becomes increasingly competitive from its stand a ways off to the side. It seems the argument has spread farther than the Tournament ring. However, the games and events are still playing out without a hitch!
