After that, there's nothing you can do but fight! Each lance material has a base stat, as well as a strength and weakness against certain other materials. But this would be no fun if you knew what the stats were! The result of each battle is also influenced by a random number generator, to keep you on your toes. Even if your opponent’s lance is stronger than yours, you may still come out on top! When your round happens, you will be pinged to a description of the battle: [b] Winners[/b] will continue onto the next round, and should message Sasga to choose their lance material. If you fail to contact me within 23 hours of your battle then you have forfeited the round, and your opponent moves on in your place. You will receive the prize for the tier that you forfeited. [b]Losers[/b] should ping me when they are ready to receive their prize for that round. If your opponent forfeits your battle, then you get to advance onto the next round, and will be asked to pick a new lance material. [b]If neither participant responds[/b] for a forfeited tier, then a loser from the previous tier will be selected at random to advance in your places. The winner will receive the prize for the tier that they forfeited and the loser will receive a prize from the previous tier. This means that there’s a small chance you can rejoin the competition even if you lose. Intrigued, she decided to give it a try even with all the hopeful dragons in the mix. Now that she's become a Champion of Fire however, she doesn't plan to disappoint. Donning her newly acquired Shadowscale armor she stands tall among her fellow champions, her mate crooning in pride from where he watches.
