Find a Dragon

We did have a tab in the spreadsheet of available dragons a while back, but it is likely far out of date at this point. I would be willing to work on the DDC but it will require all of us breeders saying which dragons they're willing to use for projects.

@Ganondorf if you'd like to become mutual affiliates, you show my banner and I show yours, I'd be happy to lend you any of my pairs or individual dragons for use in breeding someone's dream dragon.

Hi guys! Thanks for all the replies, etc. I haven't disappeared, I was busy trying to finalize the dragon prize packs for the raffle before I posted again, so that I'd have it completely done and ready for donations.

So the list of prizes is finalized, and already we have a few donations. (Thanks Nixifer and Succubuslust!) Item donations can indeed be sent my way and I will keep careful track of them, while cash donations can be sent to Succubuslust! (@ixris, thank you very much for your offer!)

I also made some changes to the front page. AetherSeer, I've written you down as the Nursery, I hope this is alright! I also included more ways to help, including the spotters and donors, and suddenly remembered that people can also sell me close dragons, so I popped that in there as well. AetherSeer, are you alright with being one of the persons the spotters can go to when they've found a close dragon? (I can be the other.)

Nixifer (and everyone else), there will be more than one spotter! It will be more like the breeders and nesters roles - no definite amount, just whoever wants to be one.

In addition with the spotters and donors, I have gone ahead and looked into the spreadsheet for making a library. I have set up the start of the sheet here, with two sample wishes, and my own dragons for the library, which can start accepting more dragons as well, of course. Pendragyn, if you'd like to take on this task, you can message me an email so I can add you to the permissions to edit!

There are two ways to make use of this library. We could set it up so that there is a sheet for each ASSIGNED dream dragon, (adding and removing as necessary), so the information is already there for any breeders who just need to pop on and see if there are any close matches in the library.

Dream dragon sheets (DVO (#)) can be duplicated and modified for each dream dragon. This would be ridiculous to do for the entire wishlist, but would be feasible with just the assigned wishes.

The second way would be for each breeder's needs.
The spreadsheet can be copied into one's own drive, and then the breeder could, in addition to the dragons in the library, add their own dragons that aren't in the library (for example, dragons that they don't plan on keeping once the specific project is done, so they didn't list them in the library as they are only temporary dragons), and specifically focus on the one (or more) wishes that they have.

As you can see, I have a lot more dragons being used for my projects than I have added to the library. I didn't bother adding these because I won't be keeping any of them once I am done each project. So to save the librarian a tremendous amount of work, I have omitted them. But I know I am using them, so I add them to my own, personal copy.

Well, this ended up being much longer than I had anticipated. I am sorry for all the endless pings! If anyone is bothered by the number of pings as I continue to plan and seek input while planning, please let me know!

@LadyAria, I would love your help! Did you just want to be a nester in the future, or did you want to try being a breeder? You can sign on now as a nester, and if you do get pinged without having any lair space yet, you can always just say so until such a time when you do!
