She's so poppy, and I LOVE how the cornflower skink's complementary red color matches the caramel shimmer SO well, then the yellow from the secondary matches the banana tertiary. Like. I'd imagine it's because the plumes are darker, so their saturation matches the blue wings better, or maybe it's that hint of purple thrown in. I've never done a re-geneing project, I've only ever added genes to dragons who didn't already have them, but man did you do a good job with this fella. I saw what he used to look like and he's definitely way more handsome now! So good job on the re-geneing. I can't wait to see if you give him some lore! @happyasaclam First off, I really love how your lair is filled with such variety. Every page is a bounty of color, genes, and breeds. You've also got your tabs laid out nicely with labels, although I'm curious what some of them are (I didn't find much about your overarching lair organization). I'm particularly curious about Lore Rescue! If I was going to steal a lair tab it would definitely be Pinkerlocke, you've got some amazing gen 1s there. @Kalistys I love the theme of your lair. I've never seen one based around flora before, and it was a rather unique experience to have a look through it. I spent a while trying to pick a few dragons since I loved so many of them; it was a hard task, I'll tell you that. I've got quite a few honourable mentions at the end because I couldn't pick them all. Onto the ones I managed to select, eh?: Note: I ended up going for one from each section/page because, otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to leave Dusk. I love that tab with a burning passion. Most of them are also here for similar reasons to each other but what can I say? Your lair is beautiful and I can tell a lot of work went into every one of them. She's got gorgeous complementary colours over colour matching, and it suits her nicely. I might stay on the lookout for an accent like that because of her! The purples and the blacks contrast each other brilliantly and I can't help but be reminded of one of my own boys. The familiar is a nice touch, upon reading into his notes. I love her and wish I could steal her for myself, but I have a feeling I'd get chased over her sudden disappearance. [emoji=coatl tongue size=1] [i]Honourable mentions! @Ozie I love the way you've got your lair tabs set up with your lore, first off. The fact that all your dragons are categorized into their different living spaces is so cool! @Nulume Oh boy where do I start. I love your lair. Very well organized with some different themes. Your whole lair I have a soft spot for. My favorites include pastels and neons, but I've always liked darker themes like red and black, and purples, and anything Halloween. Bright blues, purples, and greens are my favorite colors. Star has two of them and they pair well. If there is ever any fuchsia glowing nails in the future they would look great on her. The purple glowing nails is close, but some fuchsia ones would tie in the pinks from the outfit pieces. She is very beautiful. The glimmer on Sabini really stands out against his Black Vipera hide. And looking at his bio that is a great choice for the character. He definitely gives that viper personality. Berry Peregrine gives another darker red shade that is darker then crimson, but it adds more to the personality of the character. The ridgeback dragon suits the look with the sharp edges of the spines and claws. Other breeds would loose some of that sharp charm (even wildclaw, as wildclaw lacks a lot of the sharp edges in design). His familiar plays well to the theme too! I love, love, love the Ghost gene. Ushin is another beautiful red and black dragon. I'm not sure what theme you will go for in his bio, but to me Ushin is giving me a demon/vampire vibe. Lionfish and Noxtide give this beautiful red velvet antique look. The clothing ties that in. The Ghost adds an undead vibe. I think he has the right amount of clothing. He is very handsome. The feathered wings are a nice touch too. I like the break up they give from some of the Noxtide pattern and allows that red to come out along the edge of the wing. Secondly, the short story in your bio made me stop for a bit to let my imagination speak for itself, I would just sit there, exchanging stories with the mysterious dragon. The addition of more golden apparel balanced it out nicely, and the white is just a great touch! Next, I started looking at them all, and the drawing on Fate's page made me smile, it's very well-drawn! He's also quite the good-looking dragon with his basic genes, one of the best I've seen. Cassi reminds me of an incredibly nice and classy neighbor I have! Speaking of, I love what you've done with just a few apparel pieces. I honestly thought she had a lot more on than she did, but nope! Just 3 pieces. But none of them look too cluttered. He's a soft colored boy who makes it all work and deserves all the praise. His colors are generally dark with the pink splash, which I'm always a fan of, but he also has Jaguar and stuff? It's hard to explain I guess, but it's a combo I love and can't get enough of.
