Oresce had been destined to a life of rhyme and song from the moment of his birth. His mother had told him that you can always tell a Wind egg not only by its colors but by its frequent jostling and juddering at the slightest breath of air, but his had been sensitive in a different way. He had tapped in perfect rhythm to the wind's every wisp and gust, and much to his parents' affectionate consternation, he had not stopped tapping out a rhythm since. This would be his first Mistral Jamboree and therefore his first poetry contest in honor of the Flight he held so dear. He vowed to make it count.
