Former members of the Seeker order, they were transformed by the Plaguebringer into powerful, dangerous dragons cursed to never leave the Scarred Wasteland. The first that were turned were failed experiments, but their successors -- the Carnage Ichors -- are everything the Plaguebringer intended. There are four variants of the Ichor subspecies: Ichor, Carnage-Ichor, Malice-Ichor, and the Stained Ones. There are numerous Ichor dragons in the world, and the Archivist has chosen only to record the stories of a small handful. Rather than having a single home, they create several safehouses across the region which they can migrate to and from when danger shows itself. The Carnage-Ichors themselves are located in the Rotrock Rim, where they fulfill their primary duty of defending the Wyrmwound from those who should not be there. They patrol the entire Scarred Wasteland, hunting failed Ichors and Malice Ichors before they can cause trouble. While there may be exceptions, or dragons who specifically choose to work with Beastclans, on the whole Beastclans tend to avoid any sort of Ichor. [/columns] [columns][b][center][size=5][font=Century Gothic]Religion[/b][/size][/center] [size=4][font=times new roman]The Carnage-Ichor order is very closely tied to the Plaguebringer; she is the one who created all Ichors, and she formed the C-I order as a group of elite soldiers for her own use. Thus, they are not unlike an order of paladins: violent, Plague-aligned paladins. Carnage-Ichors tend to be devout, and even if they aren't, they all have a healthy respect for their goddess. Other Ichor variants will vary on their connection with the Plaguebringer. Some resent her for cursing them; some still have ties to other elements that they refuse to let go of. Others have never known any other religion but that of the Plaguebringer, and they won't question it. Ultimately, it varies between different dragons. The vast majority are fighting to survive in a hostile world, and the Carnage-Ichors are much more concerned with raising their young to be perfect soldiers than they are with showing extra devotion to their goddess. In their mind, serving the C-I order is equal to or better than Exaltation. Where Carnage-Ichors tend to rely primarily on their physical strength, Malice Ichors rely almost entirely on the deceptive magics they have cultivated. All Ichors have access to a signature ability that depends on the type of their eyes, ranging from the simple ability to cause pain in an opponent to the ability to entirely control an adversary's nervous system.
