The dragons of the clan are known for their extravagant manners and rich taste. The territory welcomes visitors in some areas, while others are kept secluded and private--even from most Fletching dragons. The clan is currently a queendom, with Queen Amdiffyn at the head. Her power is checked by the Council of Suns who represent the different seasons as well as different groups within the clan. At night the water glows pink with Arcane magic. The palace itself is made entirely of fae sap, built over years and years by the old patriarch, Tarach. It glitters and glows just like the water; in opalescent sheen. Some sections of the palace are secured solely by ropes and magic; floating contraptions worked over with the same fae amber, so that spires of the castle float out over the ocean. The fae-sap walls of the palace are bedecked with thousands–perhaps tens of thousands–of tiny jewels, gathered over years, all in teardrops. These myriad of pearls, gypsum, and peridots are individually no larger than the size of a blueberry. Together, as the wind rolls over the walls, they create a soft, constant wave of sound, as though it is always raining outside the palace. The inside is equally as decadent; gauzy silks and strings of lights hang from the vaulted ceilings in every hall. Alcoves are made to hold artisan candles and magic lanterns which keep the palace brilliantly lighted. The territory consists of a long, winding road from the east, leading up to the palace on the cliffs. Shops are dotted along this path, mostly owned by Fletching dragons, from Druantia’s tea and tinctures to Quinn’s blown glass. Ordinarily, the streets host many dragons traveling for Fletching goods or to picnic by the cliffs over the bay. Now, many shops are closed and boarded up–shops that belonged to dragons only recently passed on. The road is bordered to the south by plateaus which fly hundreds of kites in the spring, and in the winter act as a site for ice sculpting contests and ice slides for hatchlings to play on. To the north is a massive bamboo forest, spanning the entire northern edge of Fletching territory. The province above hosts a temple to the Windsinger, and Queen Amdiffyn ordered a path through the bamboo forest to be cut and maintained. This path travels by a set of reflecting pools used for meditation and contemplation by many dragons. The northwest side of this forest is where Leannan’s Grove rests, which now expands slowly to all sides; the castle has begun sprouting bamboo on its northern face. The palace itself has a massive front hall and courtyard for visiting guests, and in times of peace the doors are open to any who are visiting. The north side of the main floor houses the hatchery, where nests are thatched with bamboo fibers and mobiles of glass throw shimmering prisms of light all around the room. The floating sections of the palace, for the most part, act as residential chambers for the dragons. The upper floors hold the library, gallery, and throne room. The bottom floor is mainly for storage; the treasury, food storage, and a small museum of sorts holding artifacts belonging to the clan rest there. There are some areas off-limits in Fletching territory; largely the fey grove north of the palace, and a broken-off section of cliff in the Arcane bay where Amdiffyn has begun building a great temple to all of the Eleven.

Tarach took a new mate after about a year of grieving, a ridgeback named Vika.
