I greatly apologize for the sudden, REALLY long hiatus! It was completely unplanned, but I just couldn't get on FR due to some major health issues I've been working through, but I'm getting better, so I decided to finally get back on today!
tldr, I'm REALLY sorry for, like, being gone.
ANYWAYS, since I'm here, time to go through the (SO MANY) new Genes that have come out since I was last available, and the Eyes are quite something, too!

Okay, SO... I think the Eyes are cool. And I personally LOVE the Light Eyes! (Not biased at all~)
So, I was wondering if perhaps we could just leave the Eyes alone (since they're random and are not hereditary) but for each Eye Type they mean something different?
I'm thinking of instead of Symbolism, they might grant that Dragon a certain 'ability' or something of the like. Like, for example, the Glowing Eyes, as shown below:

@/Saraceaser I am really glad to see you back and agree with you on the genes. The eyes I think should not be designated a specific thing because there already is so much detail floating around our subspecies. But then again, I quite like Akyras suggestions. :)

As for the eyes, I'm with Springleaf. The this subspecies already has such wonderful and we'll rounded lore. I feel giving the eyes meaning would bog them down a bit.
That's not to say anyone can't make their own unique lore as to why they have the eyes they do, but it doesn't need to be offical. I like the uniqueness the eyes give. It helps differentiate your dragon from others.

Regarding the Eyes: after some thought and considering everyone's responses so far, I decided that yes, any Lore-related things pertaining to the different Eye types should be up to the Dragon's owner, so we're just going to leave that alone.
(Though I will add a link to Akyra's list just in case anyone wants to add the Eyes to their Dragon's Lore and needs ideas, 'cause it's a really good list~ ;3)
