Q: If you sell custom art, what is the pinglist for?
A: You can ask to be put on the pinglest for
slot openings. I find this method of communication works a bit better if there are a lot of people interested in getting art when slots are full. I might automatically add you if you posted a request before I managed to close the thread.
Q: How long does it usually take you to finish a commission?
A: That solely depends on what type of commission it is. The larger the sketch, the longer it takes to finish, so that means that a human bust sketch will take a lot less than a colored human fullbody drawing. The average time I've been able to do so far is about 2-3 days, depending on how full my schedule is and how complex the drawing is.
Q: When is the best time to send payment?
A: I will accept payment whenever you wish to send it, but I prefer recievig payment after I finish the art piece just so I have some motivation to finish it. If you send me a CR with payment right away, I will likely not accept it until after I've finished your artwork.
Q: What media(s) do you use?
A: I prefer traditional art to draw with, but I've begun drawing digitally more and more often. My process for creating a piece of art begins with a sketch on paper that I'll then scan and finalize digitally, which usually means coloring it in.
Q: Why are your prices so much lower than the other art shops'?
A: I prefer to charge less for my art just because paying 900K for a simple drawing seems like a rip-off to me (I'm not slamming other artists' choices, this is my own opinion). I would never charge for my art more than I would pay for it.
Q: Why don't you ever do colored dragon art?
A: I haven’t quite figured out how, is my honest response. The amount of genes and color complexity that FR has available is taking a long time to learn and memorize. So for now, I'm sticking with stuff that I know so that I don’t disappoint anyone.
Q: Do you take reservations for slots?
A: Nope, my shop is first come first serve :)
Q: Do you draw custom OCs or stuff from other websites like ChickenSmoothie?
A: I do draw custrom ocs but I will
not draw stuff from other websites. Nor do I draw fanart.
