In Greek mythology the Moon is female with five goddesses associated with it, though the had both male and female deities associated with the sun. The main sun deity was Helios though, male.
Egyptian mythology has Ra the Sun god and Khonsu the primary god of the Moon, thought both Thoth and Iah are also associated with the Moon.
Interesting choice. *contemplative look* In most mythologies it's a Moon Goddess and a Sun God, or both Moon and Sun are male.
