It will likely have some ramp-up time as everyone comes back to the site and logs in (which writes to database), but it should be a fairly noticeable improvement, and hopefully much more consistent stability. :)

Dominance is week-to-week. Dragon's exalted this week will determine who gets Dominance bonuses next week, and the cycle continues. :)

While there is no cap on the actual stats that I am aware of, dragon levels themselves have a ceiling of 25, so whatever stats you can achieve whilst 25 and under is free game!

I fed them all during the maintenance. There was a great feast and none of you were invited. I also sent a swarm of Akirbeaks into your lairs to watch over your nests. They all ran for it when they saw you coming back though.

Sorry for any confusion - I'll be happy to clarify a bit more. :)

The Dominance standings that you see on the page right now, are showing the competition climate for yesterday and today. They are displaying who is in the current lead for next week's Dominance rewards.

Previous to this, the leaderboard was taking into account exaltation data from the previous 7 days, which, in this case, contained data from almost ALL of the exaltation from last week, which is not applicable to this period.

It just cleans up the standings more so that they are relevant to the current competition.

This change just makes Dominance standings more accurate, because they only display exaltation activity for the period those standings are relevant to (aka, the "new week"). :) Prior to this, it was displaying exaltation for the last 7 days from when you visited the page, which attributed to skewed activity that reached back into the previous week.

This gives a more accurate representation of the competition climate for the current period. :)

The saturday to sunday changeover is when it gets tallied. Figure that 23:50 on saturday is the last minute you can exalt. As soon as it his 0:00 it's a new week and the previous week's winners are announced.

We have made a slight alteration to how Flight Dominance standings display and just wanted to let you know about it real quick!

How it functioned before:
Flight Dominance was properly resetting each week (don't worry about that), however, the standings display was showing activity from the last 7 days from the point you were viewing the standing list.

How it functions now:
Flight Dominance now displays the standings from the last time dominance was tallied. (In this case, the standings consist of the exaltation activity from the tally til now.)

We made this change so that standings were more accurately displayed for the week period that they were relevant to. Thank you!

You should not be finding light chests anymore. O_O; THat&#039;s very odd, because I double checked the database and it&#039;s been removed from the digging system.

Are you sure you didn&#039;t find a rusted/ironbound/gilded chest while digging, and when you went to check your hoard, you found the lightkeeper&#039;s is leftover from the brightshine?

Nevermind. The database showed them as being removed because Xhaztol just told me he removed them after reading this post. All is well. Enjoy your post-holiday loots. XD

Just for giggles, can you try unequipping the skin, then viewing your dragon lair, then re-equipping it, then visiting the lair again?

This may be related to poor coding for some of the advertising in the side and bottom bar. If you receive another notification, can you please provide more information? Screenshots will also be helpful.

You have a chance of seeing your own dragons. That chances goes down with each passing day though, as the pool of dragons available grows exponentially. (It&#039;s now 120575 and climbing.)

A month ago you would have had a 1/6000 chance of seeing a specific dragon on the front page. Now it&#039;s 1/120575.

I&#039;m sure that SOMEONE has seen your dragon though, even if it wasn&#039;t you. :)

Starters and non-gened pass on the easiest and can breed the most frequently.

It&#039;s a base amount that fluctuates between (1000 - 2000) + 1000/lvl (up from 500/lvl).

We&#039;re looking into additional non-monetary perks for exalting as options for the future. :-)

Seraph is 125K. It is also an uncommon gene, so breeding it against eyespot will tend to yield more eyespot bebes. Breeding it against shimmer will tend to yield more seraph bebes.

About flight changes, we can&#039;t comment at this time. We&#039;re lookin&#039; into it. The element and lairs are tied into a lot of systems, and are something of a labyrinth to navigate. To be sure, it would be one of the more involved suggestions were we to implement it.

A flock of Akirbeaks will tend to your nests during the downtime. :-)

• A new Secondary gene - Seraph - is now stocking in the Specialty section of the Treasure Marketplace. This uncommon gene was generously sponsored through our kickstarter by WarriorJames. It patterns the wings of your dragon with layers of feathery markings.

Scheduled Server Maintenance:

• Flight Rising will be down Tuesday July 9th starting at 0:00 server time for up to 12 hours as we hook up our second server.

Credits Page:

• A credits page has been added to help players find staff, and to acknowledge the awesome folks who have had a hand in making Flight Rising.

Additional Updates:

• New players will be able to visit the encyclopedia, world map, and forums even during lair creation. This change was made so that new players can find out more about the various flights and dragons of flight rising before they make their element/starter choices.
• Breed change scrolls for Pearlcatcher, Spiral, Ridgeback, and Snapper now stock in greater quantities in the Marketplace.
• The amount of treasure awarded for exalting dragons that have been leveled through the Coliseum has been increased.
• Dragon age values now round down rather than up, to help avoid confusion. To clarify the functionality of the aging system: Hatchlings will become adults at midnight rollover if their age is calculated to be "exactly or older than 5 days." This means that if you have a hatchling with an age of 5 days, it will grow up at the next rollover.
• Changes have been made to the Apparel system to help alleviate items being overwritten when equipping, moving, or unequipping items.

Heh, just to clarify, this is not intentional, and those trades attempts won&#039;t go through. :P It&#039;s a great catch, though! Thanks for snooping!
