The Kuuwarden Clan began
with Matron and Clan Leader Aithusa,
who settled in a little seaside valley
at the very edge of the Starwood Strand.
She came to the Strand after fleeing
the Crystalspine Reaches to escape
roving bands of Mirror dragons.

The Kuuwardens take pride in being
self-sustaining and diplomatic. Clan
elders make sure to pass down tales
of interdependence, mutual aid, and
giving neighbors the benefit of the doubt.
This empathy strengthens allyship both
within and outside the Clan.

Each member of the group, whether
they've come from near or far, is
dedicated to caring for the community.
While some members have certain
leadership roles, no one dragon is more or less
important than any other. Rank does not
connote wisdom-- there is space for
even the smallest of hatchlings to speak.

There are two interesting sub-groups
within the clan as a result of proximity
to an Arcane forest. There's a group
of fae who have taken up residence
near the lair and a group of dragons
that have begun to transform into trees.
More faeries arrive every day as the great
King Silva's court expands. Perhaps
Aithusa will someday relinquish control to
the fae monarch...
