Just like her name implies, this mystical Skydancer is an extremely powerful witch. Hailing from a swampy wasteland located in the Tangled Wood, she came to the Kuuwardens at the request of her mate, Naiad. Her name is not a name but a title given to her by the dark, silent elders who trained her. It’s the only identity she’s ever known, so Sorceress is what she asks to be called. She’s clever, twisted, and complicated, which makes her a perfect representative from the Shadow Flight. She goes back and forth between her old Flight’s territory and Aithusa’s lair to make sure her clan is on good terms with the Shadowbinder and her servants. Naiad often accompanies Sorceress for “protection,” not that she needs it. The pair of them often return late from her diplomacy missions. Nobody knows why and nobody asks questions. Aithusa’s sacrificing her clan’s integrity to have a shadowy powerhouse on her side. While her clanmates may object, they understand that Sorceress is a force that cannot be tamed.

Unbeknownst to the other dragons, she uses Shade magic harnessed from the souls of the dead to experiment with spell-casting and potions. This is incredibly dangerous as it has the potential to tear the life right out of her body. Fortunately, Sorceress knows when enough is enough. She only taps into her darkest powers for the most difficult (and necessary) spells. Naiad often pleads with her to find other ways to practice her craft, but it’s no use. She’ll answer to no-one. Besides, if the Shade began to consume her, she’s not quite certain whether or not she’d mind.
