”Oh, cactus flowers. I've gotten sand in my scales again."
Sahara is an odd Snapper named after a desert in another realm. She's from a scorching wasteland located in the center of the Dragonhome. Before she came to Starfall Isles she had never seen a body of water bigger than an oasis, which is why the sight of the ocean brought tears to her eyes. She had an artist paint a picture of her standing in front of the salty waves to ship back to her family since they had always talked about going to see the ocean someday. Sahara was selected along with a few other nomadic hatchlings to be trained as Flight Representatives. Only one dragon would get selected to carry on the Earthshaker's legacy. This dragon would receive an entourage-- a group of friends and companions for the chosen one until the end of her days. Sahara believed she was the least capable of leading a group of dragons through the vast, empty desert. However, her handler saw something in her that the others didn't and Sahara was selected to become a future Earth Representative. She was still very young when Aithusa noticed her analyzing some rocks with her enormous pair of sand goggles. The Fae fluttered over to the young Snapper and asked her what she was doing. The hatchling proceeded to describe the details of the rocks she was looking at and their significance to Sornieth's Earth deity. Aithusa also caught a glimmer of potential in Sahara's eye and invited her to join the Kuuwardens. She accepted and was welcomed with open arms into her new home.

Sahara enjoys living with the Kuuwardens, especially since her clanmates bequeathed a Fossilback Skink to her upon her arrival. She has always been an animal lover and Dune has thus far been the perfect companion. When her Earthshaker-worshipping duties are not as extensive as usual, Sahara can be found pestering Tarnish the familiar keeper and asking if he needs any help looking after the Kuuwardens' Beastclan companions. She's gentle and wise so most familiars tend to treat her with respect, save for those that are trained differently. Sahara grows more and more passionate about the Earth flight and its wonders each day. Between her respect for the Earthshaker and her love for familiars she brings warmth and enthusiasm to anyone lucky enough to call her 'friend.' She has a soothing, comforting presence, and she'll remain a loyal clan member until Sornieth's last mountain crumbles into dust.
