Skins and Accents

aaah i'm so excited for the jubilee! i joined up just before the '14 jubilee, so there's a weird feeling of nostalgia seeing it come around again :3c
as always, doing a round up of some of my favourite entries (although they're all really great - everyone who entered should give themselves a pat on the back, for sure!):

@Maybels 's Sunbreak - such a lovely concept, and the colours are really really nice *<*
@Chee 's Radiant Eye - i NEED THIS!!!! the effect on darker dragons is really great, with the runes in the negative space and the slight sheen effect and just. yessss
@Akihiko 's Solstice - lovely rich warm colours here, and i'm digging the nautilus-shell pattern on the wing there!
@StarGarden 's Noctern Lights - the filigree swirls on this are so good! again, the colours are really lovely and bright nvn
@yiq 's Thrones - accurate biblical angels? sign me up!! simple but to the point and really well-excecuted c:
@xarazura 's Sundace - mmmm that detailing on the wings in the second one @u@ love how soft it looks overall~
@TinyGryphon 's Notre Dame de Lumiere - aaah i'm a sucker for stained glass accents and this one is particularly well-done, i really love that vibrant teal against the reds and yellows
@Tallinier 's Sun Warden - this one's just really nice to look at, haha. i love the markings, i really dig the colours, and the scale plating on the feet is such a nice touch!
@PickedYou 's Lightwing - oh, i love the detailing here! mirror gals need more love in the accent department /o/
@arachnidsGrip 's Suntouched - simple, yet effective! love how it pops against darker dragons.
@Yunosina 's Mystic Drops - so gorgeous and delicate! i really like the flower patterns :D
@Saivur 's Crystallized Moonlight - ohh i love these patterns! the line quality makes it quite organic-looking, which i'm a huge fan of.
@Kryptographer 's Lightworks - YES... just yes
@RedHyena 's Sun-Blessed Nomad - really like the flow and the details on this one, and the halo really sets it off~
@Kent 's Lorekeeper - the detail on this is just mindblowing like wow *V* love love love these patterns!
@Zephemeral 's Gnomon Shadow - HUFFS i've already gushed about this one on tumblr but it's so good? i love how you incorporated the wing shape into the sundial arm, everything has such a nice flow to it!!
@brit 's Branded Beams - ahh the negative space effect on the wing is so clever? this glows so nicely on darker dragons, i love it
@Tettix 's Ruined City - the interplay between the geometric pattern and the squiggly shade markings is so good and really cleverly done!

@corvidus Thank you very much! I'm glad you like it! :D I actually had an earlier version where the colours were tinted more yellow/orange, but it just didn't seem like stained glass, you know?
